Douglass George Boshkoff (b.1930; d. 2015), a native of Buffalo, New York, was Indiana University School of Law’s tenth Dean. He served as Acting Dean in 1971/72 before being named Dean in the fall of 1972 and serving until January of 1976. Boshkoff received both his A.B. (1952) and LL.B. (1955) from Harvard University. Boshkoff practiced law (1955-1957) in Buffalo after law school and then served as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard from 1957 to 1959. He joined the faculty at Wayne State University Law School in 1959 and taught there until joining the faculty at Indiana in 1963. Although he stepped down as Dean in 1976, and retired in 1996, Boshkoff continued teaching until 2014. He died in November 2015.
