
Kenneth L. Parker
Description
A lifelong resident of the Cincinnati Ohio region, Kenneth Parker received his undergraduate degree from Tuskegee University (1994) before receiving his JD from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1997. After law school he clerked for the Hon. S. Arthur Spiegel in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. From 1999 until 2021, Parker served as Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio. Additionally, he served as Chief of the Criminal Division from 2011 to 2019 and as Chief of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force from 2010 to 2011. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
In September 2021, President Joseph Biden nominated Parker to serve as the 45th United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio. Parker was unanimously approved by the United States Senate on November 19, 2921.
