Terry T. Saario is a Director of Allina Hospitals & Clinics. She is a Member of the Minnesota Women’s Economic Roundtable, the Benton Foundation, the Gardner and Florence Call Cowles Foundation, and the Wendell Foundation. Dr. Saario was a Program Officer at the Ford Foundation, Special Assistant to President Carter’s Assistant for Women’s Affairs in The White House, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Education Department in the Carter Administration, Director of Corporate Contributions and Community Affairs at The Standard Oil Co., Vice President of Community Affairs at The Pillsbury Co., and President of the Northwest Area Foundation. She was Chairman of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. She has experience in philanthropy, corporate affairs, and government. Dr. Saario received a BA degree and an MA degree from the University of California, Riverside and a PhD from Claremont Graduate University.
